To desex a dog in Bunbury costs beween $520 and $615 for males, and between $665 and $860 for females depending on their weight. Surcharges may apply for females over 2 years of age, in season, or if pregnant. These costs inlude everything your pet needs to perform the surgery safely and comfortably, including intravenous fluids, pain relief during the procedure and to take home, an e-collar, and post-operative checks.
Desexing has multiple advantages. For males it can prevent marking territory, improve some behaviours, eliminate the risk of testicular cancers, and prevents prostate enlargement when older.
