How much does it cost to desex a dog in Bunbury and Eaton?

To desex a male dog costs between $520 to $615, while a female dog costs between $665 and $860 if less than 2 years of age. Additional charges may apply if in season, pregnant, or over two years old

The exact price will vary depending on the size of the dog, the sex, and for females the age, and whether they are in season or pregnant as these will increase the surgical difficulty and time.

These prices include everything they need for us to perfom the surgery safely and comfortably, including intravenous fluids, pain relief, high quality anaesthetics, and post-operative checks.

As a general guide, we recommend desexing small and medium breed dogs at around 6 months of age, while large breed dogs are normally desexed at 12 months of age or older. We recommend a discussion with one of our vets to determine the most appropriate time to desex your pet.

To book your pet for desexing, please call the Bunbury Vet Clinic on 97215999 or th Eaton Vet Clnic on 97250399 to book your pet for the surgery. If we haven’t met your pet before we recommend booking a Pre-sterilisation check beforehand so we can ensure your pet is in good health and we can ensure the timing is ideal for your dog. These pre-sterilisation checks can be booked by calling the clinics, or booked online
