We often find that people come to see us with a lot of questions, but when they walk in the door they forget everything they wanted to ask. To make sure you get the most our of your visit, we’ve created a brief list of questions you should ask your vet when you first take your puppy to the vet.
- When is the best time to desex my puppy?
- Should my puppy be micro-chipped?
- What and how often should I feed him? How much?
- Is there an optimal vaccination schedule?
- What should I be using for worm and flea control?
- Are there behaviours I should encourage…or discourage?
- When should I start brushing my puppy’s teeth?
- Is there anything special I should know about my puppy’s breed?
If you have any other questions you need to ask, we strongly advise you to write them down (we are quite used to people pulling out a written list). We’re always happy to take the time to answer your questions, and a simple question now could save a lot of time and problems in the future.
